Resin rich mica tape is made of muscovite mica paper impregnated with Modified novalac epoxy resin (F-class tape) or Modified Silicon varnish (H-class tape) & bonded with various reinforcement material like Fiber Glass cloth, polyester film, Polyimide film. Resin poor mica tape is developed for Vacuum pressure impregnation of electric motors, it contain small amount of resin and has excellent resin impregnation ability and is bonded with various supporting material on one side or both side with Glass cloth & polyester film inorder to meet the requirement of modern taping machine.
Suitable for hand or machine taping of coil and bars of high voltage rotating machines. Resin poor Mica tape is available with accelerator and without accelerator
